Victor Laloux was the architect responsible for building this impressive town hall at the heart of the community. It was constructed in 1911 and remains an impressive testament to the architect and the many local workers who built it. The enormous grey façade is over a 100 metres in length and was designed to try and show the industrial strength of the area, something which has been achieved with magnificent beauty as you will see when you visit.
