In many ways Saint Denis as a community is heavily linked with Paris, if not just by the geographical proximity, there are extremely important buildings and structures in the suburb, such as the cathedral and the stadium both of which would be worthy of the centre of the capital. However, it is a separate place with a separate way of governance, and this fine town hall is the head of that government, a beautiful building where there are occasional exhibitions of art.
