This small museum is situated in the grand Chateau Saint Malo, which is one of the crowning glories of the old town area of the city. The collection focuses around the history of the old port city, from its earliest involvement in naval battles with neighbouring England to the important part it played in the D-Day landings in 1944. The museum is filled with artefacts and interesting documents, photographs and paintings from years gone by.
