This is one of two important theatres in the centre of Rennes. Originally constructed centuries ago, the beautiful building has been changed much more extensively on the inside than the outside over the past few decades. Today, inside it is a modern theatre which hosts an exciting programme of events throughout the year including a good deal of traditional French theatre, musical events, comedy and much more besides. It is one of the centres of cultural life in Rennes.
