The Western Beach is a little further away from the centre of town, but is considered by many to be superior because it is often quieter and less crowded. It still has a good selection of facilities relatively close by and is life guarded at certain times, which can be found out from the signs on the beach. The views of the seascape, the coastline and the town are unparalleled from this good looking stretch of golden sands.
