The main attraction in Valbonne, is Valbonne itself. The street plan makes it almost unique as a military defensive point that was built in the 16th Century. Essentially is shares a past with La Defense which is near Paris and is designed in almost exactly the same way. The village is therefore one of the best examples of this type in the world. You cannot help but be intrigued as you walk around the regimented streets at the heart of the town.
