This chateau was completed in 1536 and is therefore one of the later Renaissance castles to be built in France. The inside of the building is lined primarily with rooms that have been furnished with 18th Century buildings. There is quite a large collection of art within the house ranging from the 15th Century to the present day. The collection is influenced by artists from France and the other major European arts schools. Probably the biggest draw in the chateau itself is the amazing Spanish influenced Moorish mosque ceiling.
