This museum is named after the magnificent 14th Century building in which it stands. Situated just outside the main cathedral, this building is one of the most beautiful and well known in the city. Over the years the building has been a produce market, law courts and palace, but today is the home to the fine arts museum of the city, which has a good collection of European art treasures ranging from the 15th Century to the 20th Century.
