The Contemporary Art Museum is one of the finest public museums in this area of the Paris suburbs. It contains a wealth of paintings, sculptures and installation pieces that have been collected from across the world. There is a definite bias towards the locality, and many of the represented artists have lived in or are inspired by this area of Paris. The centre has a good permanent collection, but also hosts regular visiting shows.
