Situated on the edge of Versailles, this beautiful forest expands out into the countryside, getting further and further from the urban sprawl and metropolitan fallout of the Paris suburbs than you could imagine. There are many walking and cycling paths through the forest which is well known for having some exciting species of wildlife and plant life living within it. If you feel adventurous you can go off the tracks and get a real feel for the wild.
