The House of Pewter is an open workshop and museum that proposes to tell you the rich and interesting history of metal production and forming in this town and across the world. You are welcome to come into the workshop, and from a safe distance watch the craftsman perform their art form which hasn’t changed in essence for hundreds of years. The beauty of this centre is that is has several interactive displays that are particularly popular with children.
