Standing in the Place Surian is one of the most famous buildings in the community, known as ‘The House of the Holy Spirit’. At one time this was the town hall and has since been superseded in that role. The architecture of the building is completely stunning, and the attention to detail on the front façade is recognised as some of the most detailed in the region. The wooden lintel still reads with an inscription “Blue with a silver tower with five crenellations, and stone of sand colour.”
