Completely renovated in 1992, the Municipal Theatre is a large venue which holds around seven hundred spectators. Because of its size, it is mainly used for large productions and music events. These can be varied in theme, but it has not been uncommon for the venue to attract some of the best travelling companies of actors in the country. The musical and comedy events are rich and varied, so it is always worth checking the programme.
