A real jewel in the crown of the town and one of the most important entertainment venues in the area, the municipal theatre has for many years been a place where social and cultural exchange has taken place in Vienne. A good sized theatre housed in an impressive municipal building, the theatre hosts an interesting and eclectic programme of events throughout the year. The main focus is on stage plays although the theatre also presents musical and comedy evenings.
