The old village at the heart of the town is one of the best preserved examples of a Provencal village anywhere in the region. The local people take a great pride in the knowledge that a walk through these streets really is like going back in time. Although there are a great many famous ancient buildings in the rest of the town, the old streets of the village are worth exploring separately, at your own leisure and with a sense of calm.
