Rouffach Forest is one of three good looking woodland areas that surround this small community. It is a large area of green land that is protected by a dense canopy that casts the floor of the forest into virtual darkness at times, even in the middle of the day. It is a delightful experience to stroll through the vegetation watching the shafts of light makes their way through the leaves as the wind gently blows the branches.
