Built in the 13th Century, this cathedral is one of the iconic symbols of the city of Vannes. It towers above much of the old town area, and serves as a point of reference for anyone trying to negotiate the maze of streets around it. The church has been remodelled on several occasions in the last few centuries, but still retains the original charm of the ancient Gothic design, with which it was first created. The patron of the city, St. Vincent Ferrier, is buried within the church.
