The Vichy Museum isn’t the largest municipal museum in the country, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in content. The exhibitions are situated in a series of small rooms in an old theatre building at the heart of the town. The focus of the collection is on the social and political history of the town and the region. The story is told through artefacts, pictures and paintings. Much of the collection relates to the importance of the town in the Second World War.
