The River Seine is without a question one of the most famous rivers in the world, if not the famous. It flows through the centre of Paris and then out into the suburbs and the surrounding towns. It is quite a treat to take a stroll beside its banks, watching the fast running river glisten in the summer sun and the boats go by. It attracts a good deal of wildlife, especially water birds who are on good display at this quieter area of the river.
