This huge national park area is situated outside of the city of Nice along the coast to the east. It is a vast area of forest and parkland that has been set aside by the government to be conserved. Within the park are many hundreds of rare and interesting species of animal and plant that are a treat for anyone who visits. It is easiest to access the area by car, although there are some buses that can take you close to the edge of the park. It is a really great example of the French countryside at its best.
