Notre-Dame Cathedral
Place de la Cathédrale, Strasbourg 67000 - France

Map
Notre-Dame Cathedral at the heart of Strasbourg is widely considered to be one of the finest examples of ‘high’ or ‘late’ Gothic architecture in France. Popularly thought to have been designed by Erwin von Steinbach, the Cathedral towers above the rest of the city with a great majesty. Work started on the building in the 13th Century and it has been refined throughout the years. For many hundreds of years it was the tallest building in the world and can be seen clearly across the Alsace plains in Germany.
