This beautiful church is situated just a few streets away from the world famous Place de la Concorde. Built in a neoclassical style the church looks a little like a Greek temple to the untrained eye. The design and construction was begun in the 18th Century and after nearly a century of changes to the design, it was finally consecrated in 1845. The outside of the church is surrounded by 52 columns that give the church a real imposing feeling on the surrounding streets.
