St. Thomas’ Church, known locally as l’Eglise St-Thomas, is one of the oldest and most beautifully constructed in the city of Strasbourg. Situated at the heart of the old centre of the city the church is a fully functioning place of worship open throughout the day for private prayer and on many occasions public prayer. The facility attracts visitors on a large scale because of the rich religious and social history attached to it.
