This vast double cathedral is one of the iconic structures of the city of Grenoble. Since the earliest times, there has been a place of worship on this site, but it is thought that the current cathedral was probably constructed at some time in the 14th Century. Looming above the old town, the church is recognised by architectural enthusiasts as being one of the best preserved Gothic cathedrals in Europe. There is much to see inside the church, which is open throughout the week.
