There are several fine town houses in the heart of old Lyon, and this is without a doubt one of the best looking. Built by a 16th Century wealthy merchant for himself and his family, no expense has been spared in the design and execution of the property. The central courtyard which is overlooked by a looming tower is one of the highlights as is the staircase that snakes away inside the central atrium.
