This area of Lyon is absolutely packed with fascinating tourist attractions and historic buildings, this building being one of the finest. The ancient palace of justice, constructed in 1845 by well-known and respected architect, J.P. Ballard, serves as one of the iconic symbols of the city. The Saone River is nearby, and frames beautifully this unbelievable piece of classical architecture. Within the building are a series of frescos that attract visitors from across the world.
