The main parish church towers above almost every other building in the community, certainly dwarfing even the most grand of secular structures below. The building has a history that dates back almost five hundred years and in that time, as the town has changed immeasurably in character and physical appearance, this church has largely stayed the same. Both internally and externally it is an interesting place to visit.
