Philibert Delorme designed this magnificent building in 1536. It is quite widely recognised as being one of the great jewels of the Renaissance architecture scene that remains in Lyon. The building is open to the public, who can admire the exceptional attention to detail of the architect and craftsmen who put the building together. In the second courtyard there is a small art gallery that comprises the private collection of George Bullioud.
